D-Fi
4 Juni, 2012

D-Fi is a play on the English word "defy"....which means challenge or dare. So my idea behind this was that "digital" never really sounded very good compared to analogue and this was even more true in the audiophile world. But with the real advances we have made in making digital devices sound as good (well almost) as analogue its a play on the word "Hi Fi" and "defy".

So its challenging people to take iPods, laptops etc seriously as they can sound fantastic if connected correctly using good components (amps, speakers etc)...so Defy (D-Fi) what you never thought possible...(in other words digital is better than you could imagine possible). Touraj talks about it as digital fidelity, but when I named the cable D-Fi it was because of the unbelievable enjoyment we were getting from these much maligned digital gadgets!
